- Happiness is a choice. Make that choice today and every day.
- Good health isn't a gift; it's a habit you cultivate.
- A healthy, fit body is not enough -- true fitness engages the spirit.
- Think more about what you should eat than what you shouldn't.
- Laugh at yourself. You're funny.
- Nurture your spirit. It's your source of strength.
- Stay connected to the natural world. It will feed your soul.
- Believe in yourself. Your intuition is rarely wrong.
- It's never too late to take the first step toward your aspirations.
- What you pay attention to will thrive.

Whole Living
So I'm stealing this from a blog I read called All things G&D. She wrote about a new magazine she read called Whole Living. Their ten tenets of whole living is a great list to follow, especially reason #1. Here is the list. I'm looking forward to checking this magazine out for myself. I'll give a review later! Hope you find the list as helpful as I did.

Frugaliciously fun Superbowl!
We had an awesome low key Superbowl with our favorite friends. It was a great start to 2011 and a final farewell to football for a while!
We made lots of yummy food including the wings. It is so much cheaper to make your own wings then buy them. They taste better because they are hot fresh out of your own oven and you can make as many flavors as you like.
Here was the lineup with recipes (all tried for the first time for the big game) and some pictures:
Did you see my fabulous big white bowl ($15)? I got it during my last homegoods run along with so many other cute things which includs my new favorite vase ($12) filled with whole foods tulips (2 for $12) for the first time since spring 2010!
When I went crazy in homegoods, God must have known I wouldn't be shopping for another 3 months. A few days before superbowl, Paul and I found out we were pregnant. So, my four month hiatus from blogging and shopping was caused by super fatigue, nausea and vomiting induced by our little pumpkin due 10.15.11 having taken over my body. Not to fear though, I think I am finally starting to feel like myself again. I will be blogging about lots of fun new purchases!

- Baked Buffalo Wings and celery/carrots (we also made another wing batch with the same recipe, omitting the franks hot sauce and switching it with very teriyaki sauce.
- For about 50 wings we spent $10-12
- Blue Cheese Dip with some special kettle cooked chips on sale for Superbowl at whole foods
- Oreo Truffle Footballs These were AMAZING. Can't rave enough about this recipe

Remember Me?!
So, What can I say to explain my four month hiatus from blogging aside from the lazy bug has hit me BIG time. I'm so lazy infact that I finally got around to downloading the pictures off my camera from superbowl throguh our tulips blooming in our front yard this spring.
Even more proof of the lazy bug is that I haven't had much frugalicious news to share because I've been....wait for it....too lazy to go shopping. I can't even believe I typed that. Shopping is part of what makes my heart tick and yet I have to drag myself to the store.
In my defense, although 4 months is a bit ridiculous, I did start this blog off by saying I wasn't committing to frequent posting!
So, this weekend I will be catching up on my blogging starting with our fun and cozy superbowl, followed by our fabulous trip to the outer banks courtesy of our good friends, a trip to NY with my sister, then a report on our clearance pansies and a few frugalicous purchases I happened to make during my brief shopping stints.
Stay tuned!
